I first "experienced" this book when Eddie was about 3 years old. I made the mistake of attempting to read it to him without reading it to myself first. I didn't get far before I was sobbing as I tried to read on. I explained to Eddie I was crying because I was happy. He said, "I know you're happy Mommy, but can you please stop crying!" There is a copy of this book in each of the boys memory boxes as well as one on their bookshelf.
My "Mommy" found this video on YouTube of Robert Munsch reading the story. I think it's great. Watch and enjoy and be sure to have tissues nearby!
