Ken's back in the hospital.....

Last night was awful here. By 4AM Ken was freaking out about the cast again saying that it was too tight. I doubled his pain killer and called the dr. and she said that I could take off the bottom part of it. There was a lot of blood seepage through the bandages. Ken was in a tremendous amout of pain and by 7AM when I called the doctor again she said to get him back to the hospital. He will be there at least over night tonight. I hope that they will keep him for a few days because he really needs the heavy duty pain meds right now. I haven't slept in two days and hope to grt to sleep very early tonight! I hope he does too. They gave him a shot of morphine when he first got to the hospital but that wore off and now they have him on an IV and he has to push a button to release the pain med into his body. But the last time I talked to him he said he didn't want to go to sleep because now he's afraid he'll fall asleep and not push the button and then the pain will come back. I can't imagine what he's going through.
