Make the World a Better Place Week!

I found out in church last Sunday that the Girl Scouts are celebrating 95 years of community of service. They have designated the week of March 11th as "Make the World a Better Place Week." So, I asked the boys what are some ways that we can make the world a better place. Here's what they said....

*Turn off the electricity
*Clean up
*Don't litter
*Pick up litter
*Draw pretty pictures to decorate the world
*Take care of everyone
*Be nice to everyone and let the do what they want to
*Share
*Give presents
*Help each other
*Get along - don't fight
*Don't waste food

As I was typing this an inspired Christopher rushed off to put his toys away. As Eddie returned to his game on Gamecube Chris called him to come help but Eddie refused. Chris replied very seriously & sternly,
"then you're not helping the world!"
And, the dialogue continues.... Chris is still cleaning...
Eddie, "what are you doing?"
Chris, "I'm cleaning up."
Eddie, "why?"
Chris, "because I want to help the world!"
That's my boy! :-)
