We had so much fun at Roses' Surprise 50th Birthday party! It was down the shore at a place on the beach with a pool. They Hayes boys had a such a great time at the ocean! We're so used to the lake but they really loved the big waves! I prefer the lake myself and the ocean's vastness really scares me but even I have to admit it was really fun & exhillarating!

This was the start of the great balloon chase game! Christopher kept bringing balloons out and hitting them - then this red one got away.....almost, it was blown almost all the way out to the ocean and then would get caught in some kind of wind tunnell, do an about face and head straight back in to the courtyard and start circling while the kids chased and tried to catch it as it made it's way around the balconies, the pool, the shuffle board, back out over the ocean and back in the courtyard again - over and over - while all the kids chased with Christopher leading the way! It was really, really funny!
This pictures does not do this scene justice. On the way home the sky was filled with seagulls for a stretch of about a mile. It was really neat!
