Christopher came off the school bus with this open book in his hand...apparently it was so good he read it all the way home on the bus! Then he ran in, plopped on the couch and finished it. He was so proud of himself because although he's been a really good reader for a while now this is the first real 'big' chapter book that he's read all by himself! As soon as he finished it he started a magic tree house book! Christopher struggled a little with reading at the beginning of the year - he actually regressed a little - but he is doing soooooooo great now! I'm so proud of my boy!
It's not the book I would've chosen for him, but that's okay. : )
