My camera broke on Halloween..... I could've died!
I have some really funny pictures from our first "Goosey Night" or "Mischief Night" or whatever you call it where you live. This was the boys' first and my first. One of our neighbors invites the local kids over and lets them go nuts decorating the trees (and each other) with TP, shaving cream and powder filled socks. They even buy munchkins and juice boxes for all the little ones. When I first heard of it I was going to let Ken take the boys and I was going to wait back home. I figured the boys would have more fun that way without me constantly yelling at them to "STOP THAT!" Then I got nervous and figured perhaps the boys might require a little "adult supervision" -ahem- sorry Ken. Ken was just a little tooooo excited by the whole thing as he sat at the table filling socks with powder (I only had lavender and chamomile scented baby powder).
It turned out I was really glad I went because it was A LOT of fun! The kids really let loose and had a blast. And everyone commented on the fragrant scent of lavender in the air ;-) It was really fun to watch and I got some great pictures ---hopefully someday I will be able to retrieve them.
We also had a really fun Halloween. We had a group ranging from 16-21 friends trick or treating together - the biggest group we've ever had. Just imagine it....all the moms were taking pics of the kids on my stoop....EXCEPT ME. I was in disbelief...schock....my camera would not work. "Lens error....restart camera" over and over over....... WHAT?!? The other moms said they will give me some doubles when they get them. As soon as I get them I will post them.
Meanwhile I called Canon and it turns out I have to send my camera in to the place where we have our extended waranty and it can take up to 20 days til I get it back. I haven't even sent it in yet. SIGH. This is BAD.
:-(

Sounds like what happened to my Sony Cybershot. Luckily I sent it in and it came back fixed within in about 2 weeks. Send it in!!
